Working alongside Montgomery Transport Distribution, Konexit Fleet recently had the opportunity to install advanced tachograph, maintenance and intelligent driver monitoring technology onto one of only 100 DAF Emerald Edition lorries.
Montgomery Transport Distribution is already an established customer of Konexit Fleet, with our technology currently tracking more than 500 of their trailers in support of EB PMS Solutions. We were delighted to be invited to see this exceptional vehicle and install additional fleet technology designed to provide even greater visibility, compliance and driver insight.
Remote Tachograph
Our remote tachograph solution allows tachograph information to be downloaded from the vehicle remotely, reducing the need for manual downloads and bringing important compliance data back into one central system for analysis.
Maintenance Management
The system also provides a comprehensive maintenance package, allowing vehicle servicing, inspections, MOTs and maintenance schedules to be managed centrally and more efficiently.
Driver Monitoring Camera
An intelligent driver-facing camera was also installed, providing Montgomery with greater insight into driver behaviour and potentially distracting activity inside the vehicle cab.
Intelligent Driver Monitoring
Using intelligent algorithms, the camera system can identify a range of driving behaviours and provide smart alerts to fleet managers, helping them understand what is happening inside the vehicle cab.
Bringing Fleet Technology Together
The installation demonstrates how multiple areas of fleet management can be brought together through one connected technology platform.
Remote tachograph data, vehicle maintenance information and intelligent driver monitoring can all provide fleet operators with more useful information about their vehicles, drivers and day-to-day operation.
