April 16, 2026
Konexit Fleet is preparing to launch a new EBPMS (Electronic Brake Performance Monitoring System) telematics solution for trailers, with availability planned for May 2026.
The new solution is being developed to give UK fleet operators better visibility of trailer performance, with a strong focus on braking systems, safety, and compliance.
Bringing More Visibility to Trailer Fleets
While telematics is now widely used across trucks and vans, trailers are often still managed with limited real time insight, especially when it comes to braking performance.
Konexit Fleet’s EBPMS solution will provide operators with a clearer picture of how their trailers are performing day to day, helping them spot issues earlier and manage maintenance more effectively.
Helping with Regular Laden Brake Testing
For many UK operators, carrying out loaded brake tests several times a year can be difficult to plan and disruptive to operations.
The new system is designed to make this easier by giving continuous visibility of brake performance throughout the year.
This will help customers:
• Monitor brake performance between scheduled tests
• Identify any drop in performance earlier
• Keep records to support compliance and inspections
• Reduce the need to take trailers out of service purely for testing
Instead of relying only on periodic checks, operators will have ongoing insight into how their trailers are performing in real working conditions.
Supporting Safer, More Efficient Operations
With better data comes better decision making.
By having access to real time information, fleet operators will be able to improve safety, reduce unexpected downtime, and plan maintenance in a more practical way.
This can lead to lower costs, better trailer utilisation, and fewer disruptions to daily operations.
Coming Soon
Konexit Fleet is aiming to bring the solution to market in May 2026, with more details to follow in the coming months.
The focus is on delivering something that fits easily into existing fleet operations while providing clear and immediate value.
Looking Ahead
Trailer visibility is becoming more important as fleets look to improve safety, efficiency, and compliance.
With this upcoming launch, Konexit Fleet is taking a step toward giving operators better control over one of the most important, and often least visible, parts of their fleet.
