Konexit Fleet to Launch Trailer EBPMS Telematics Solution
April 13, 2026Konexit has successfully delivered a large-scale telematics deployment across 100 Geely Staray vehicles in Templecombe, Somerset, integrating advanced driver intelligence, real-time alerting, and direct system integration for enhanced fleet control.

Driver scoring built around the customer
Rather than using a fixed model, this deployment includes an intelligent driver scoring system with adjustable weighted bands.
That means the customer can decide what matters most, whether that’s harsh braking, speeding, or other behaviours and weight those accordingly. It gives a more accurate picture of driver performance, rather than a one-size-fits-all score.
Real-time alerts that actually reach the right people
A key part of the system is a dynamic alerting setup, backed by a fully customised alert engine.
Alerts are triggered based on criteria defined by the customer, with escalation built in. For specific high-risk events, senior members of the customer’s management team receive immediate notifications, ensuring the right people are aware as soon as something happens.
Direct integration into the customer’s systems
All data feeds directly into the customer’s own platform via API, rather than sitting in a separate system.
This allows them to:
- Pull live vehicle and driver data into their existing workflows
- Automate internal processes
- Avoid double-handling or delays in reporting
It’s a more joined-up approach, and one that fits better with how most larger fleets now operate.
First Notification of Loss (FNOL) included
The system also includes First Notification of Loss alerts, helping the customer respond quickly when incidents occur.
This improves visibility from the outset and helps streamline what can often be a slow, reactive process.

Delivered at scale
All 100 vehicles were installed on site in Templecombe, with a consistent setup across the fleet and minimal disruption to operations.
Projects at this size come down to planning and process as much as the technology itself, and this one was delivered cleanly from start to finish.
A practical, joined-up solution
This wasn’t just about fitting tracking devices, it was about building a system that fits into the customer’s day-to-day operation.
With tailored driver scoring, real-time alerts, and direct system integration, the result is a setup that gives the customer clearer visibility and better control over their fleet.
