This has been enhanced further to support multiple contacts and multiple sites against each customer, giving the team greater flexibility when managing complex customer relationships.
All completed and active jobs can now be linked directly to customer records, giving Gabor Logistics a clear history of work carried out. The team can quickly see how many jobs have been completed for each customer, when those jobs took place and access the relevant job information from one organised location.
Workforce Scheduling with Swim Lane Planning
To improve planning and resource allocation, Konexit introduced a swim lane calendar that gives Gabor Logistics a clear view of each team members daily schedule.
Each driver or team member appears in their own lane, making it easy to see what work is assigned, where availability exists and how the day is planned. Jobs can also be moved using drag-and-drop functionality, allowing the operations team to quickly reassign work from one driver to another when priorities change.
Map-Based Job Tracking and Driver Navigation
Konexit gives Gabor Logistics the ability to view open and completed jobs on a map. This makes it easier to understand where work is taking place and identify drivers who may already be close to a new job location.
By using map-based visibility, the team can make smarter routing decisions, reduce unnecessary travel and allocate jobs more efficiently.
The mobile app also supports pinpoint job locations. This means drivers can be sent to an exact location, rather than relying only on a postcode or general address. Using the built-in navigate-to feature, drivers can travel directly to the correct location using their mobile device.
Managing Holidays, Absences and Scheduling Conflicts
Gabor Logistics can record absences, holidays, sick days and other unavailable periods directly within the system. This helps ensure jobs are not assigned to people who are unavailable.
The system also helps manage duplication by alerting users when they try to book a job for someone who already has work scheduled at that time. When a conflict is detected, the user is warned and can choose another time or decide whether they still want to continue.
