April 7, 2026Konexit Fleet has introduced a new automated alerting capability designed to improve how organisations manage large, shared vehicle fleets across multiple depots.
The new feature addresses a common issue in fleet operations. Vehicles are often shared between branches, while each depot has its own management team responsible for monitoring alerts. Making sure the right team receives the right alerts has traditionally relied on manually moving vehicles between groups within telematics systems.
This manual process can be time-consuming and prone to error, particularly for businesses operating large fleets with frequent vehicle movement between locations.

Konexit Fleet’s solution removes this complexity through dynamic group automation. The system automatically identifies which depot a vehicle belongs to based on the last location it visited, and updates its group assignment in real time. This ensures alerts are always sent to the correct management team without any manual input.
The feature was developed in response to growing demand from customers managing increasingly flexible fleet operations.
“Vehicles are no longer tied to a single depot, and our customers needed a smarter way to manage that,” they said. “This allows alerting to reflect real-world usage without adding administrative overhead.”
By aligning alerts with actual vehicle location and responsibility, the system helps reduce unnecessary notifications, improves response times, and gives each depot clear visibility over the vehicles they are managing.
The feature has already been successfully deployed with a major customer operating a large multi depot fleet, where vehicles are regularly shared across branches.
